The easy way to locate Von Asgard K-9 Center, when you exit I-75 at Exit #217 East, is to note the odometer mileage and add 18 miles to that figure. Then leisurely drive EAST on State Road 70 until you reach that 18 mile mark. Then look down the road on the left hand (north) side for the six large 4' x 6', international flags flying along the roadway . . . three flying on each side of our 24 foot wide entrance gates. The recognized success of our "K-9 BEHAVIOR TRAINING" problem solving program has greatly contributed to Von Asgard K-9 Center being named one of the premier dog training organizations in Florida. Like our "K-9 BOOT CAMP" board & train "Pet Dog" & "Top Dog" programs, our "K-9 BEHAVIOR TRAINING" problem solving program is like no other. It has been singled out for excellence and written-up in several dog publications. This unique program establishes correct behavior & modifies problem behavior. "K-9 BEHAVIOR TRAINING" is a Board & Train or Private Appointment Behavior Modification Program that teaches both the problem dog, as well as, his owner.
If the dog is boarded and trained at our location and the length of stay is determined by the Evaluation, as well as, our actual experience working with the dog.
By training five times a day for short periods, in the course of a seven day week we will have at least 35 training sessions with your dog while utilizing only his prime attention span. Successful training can quickly be accomplished with such a intensive, focused schedule.
We train using "Motivation", "Consistency' and "Repetition" combined with our variation of Operant Conditioning through the professional application of "Marker Training". Most trainers "teach" your dog to do something . . . We develop the "habit" of him doing things correctly.
