Von Asgard K-9 Center offers a wide variety of specialized training programs that draw on a heritage of proven European training methods, including those discussed in our “K-9 Kindergarten” program.
Von Asgard's "K-9 Kindergarten" Program can assist you in achieving the following so your new dog will be a most pleasant family experience:
1.) Establish a correct feeding routine.
2.) Understand vaccinations & worming
3.) Develop successful housebreaking procedures.
4.) Learn how to teach the pup to love his special crate, as a child would love a "tree house".
5.) Learn how to systematically socialize the pup to various situations & people.
6.) Learn how to instill basic puppy good manners.
7.) Learn how to teach the pup to go up & down stairs.
8.) Learn how to train him to walk nicely on a leash.
9.) Learn how to teach the foundations of sit, down, & come.
10.) We will provide you with an on-going professional resource to call whenever you need direction or just reassurance.
The "K-9 Kindergarten" Program consists of a two hour private session for you and your pup. In the private session you and your pup will be working one-on-one with a Certified "K-9 Kindergarten" Professional. The private session is flexible running from two to three hours, as needed.
In the “K-9 Kindergarten” program, we discuss with you the psychology needed to achieve your goals, the underpinnings and exactly how you and your dog can successfully accomplish each phase. You will learn to set up a schedule (adapted from your family's actual schedule) that will be the basis of his/her housebreaking and also utilized in his training. We teach you how to handle the dog in each situation and physically work with you to master the handling techniques.
This unique program does not end when you have completed the 2 hour private session. For six months after completion of the private session, our "K-9 Kindergarten" certified professionals are available to you as an on-going resource whenever you need direction, or just reassurance.
When you and you pup have completed the "K-9 Kindergarten" program, you will feel empowered and your pup will take pride in pleasing you with all he has learned.
