NOTE: If your dog has not graduated from Von Asgard's K-9 Boot Camp - "Pet Dog" Program, an “Evaluation” is required to assess your dog's previous training . . . in order for you to enroll you dog in the more extensive "Top Dog" K-9 Boot Camp program below. (click on the red “Dog Evaluation Assessment” navigation tab at the upper left for details)
In this minimum 30 day K-9 Boot Camp “Top Dog” Program, your dog will receive the following training:
1.) Voice Commands & Hand Signals (foreign language, if requested - Demonstrate the dog’s understanding of both Voice commands and Hand Signals (beside English, if you wish, we could train your dog in German, Dutch, French, Czech, Polish, or . . . ?)
2.) Front & Finish - Show the “Front” & “Finish”, that is from the Front (Sit) position have the dog Finish (to the basic/heel) position.
3.) On-Leash & Off-Leash Companion Heeling - Demonstrate on-lead & off-lead Companion Heeling with right turns, left turns, about turns, and halts with an automatic sit.
4.) Change of Pace - Show Companion Heeling with changes of pace going from normal, to fast, to slow and back to a normal pace.
5.) Companion Heeling through Group - Demonstrate Companion Heeling around and through a group of people or objects.
6.) Sit-in-Motion - While performing a Companion Heel, have the demonstrate a Sit-In-Motion with the handler turning to face the dog before returning to the Basis/Heel position and then heeling the dog away.
7.) Down-in-Motion - While performing a Companion Heel, demonstrate a Down-In-Motion with a Recall to the distant Handler ending with a Front (Sit) and Finish (to the basic/heel position).
8.) Long Down/Stay - Demonstrate a Long Down by commanding to the dog to “Down” and then the handler walks some distance away where he waits with his back turned before finally returning to the dog and then commanding the dog to “sit” in the basic/heel position before heeling the dog away.
9.) Down-on-Recall - The handler demonstrates a Down-On-Recall by calling the dog and when the dog is about half way, commanding the dog to “Down” before then again calling the dog to a Front (Sit) and Finish (to the basic/heel position).
10.) Place - Show the dog will go to a designated “place” and then down, staying there until released.
11.) Distraction Proofing - Demonstrate Distraction Proofing during these exercises.
12.) Two Hour Graduation Program - When our training has been completed there will be a 2 hour Graduation Program to catch you up with what your dog now knows and all the commands and how to handle him.

>>> Note: To these exercises above, you can add a couple of "custom" things to be worked on during "K-9 BOOT CAMP" without any additional cost. These "Custom" items might include: Crate Training, Minor Problem Solving or, for example, (Von Asgard's exclusive) "Invisible Leash" Training. "Invisible Leash" training, however, will require several additional board & train days and an equipment purchase from Von Asgard.
