PLEASE NOTE: An “Evaluation” is MAY required in order for you to enroll you dog in the 4 Week K-9 Boot Camp board & train program below.
In this minimum 28 day board & train K-9 Boot Camp, your dog will receive the following training:
1.) Voice Commands (in foreign language, if requested) - Respond to “Voice” commands (beside English, if you wish, we can train your dog in German, Dutch, French, Czech, Polish, or . . . ?)
2.) Focused Attention - Demonstrate that he gives automatic focused attention by looking calmly up into the face of the handler.
3.) Snap Sit - Accomplish a very snappy "Sit", with an automatic focused attention.
4.) Quick Down - Show he will do a consistent and quick “Down”.
5.) Go to "Place" - Demonstrate the "place" command by having the dog go to a designated spot.
6.) Solid Stay - Demonstrate his settling into a real solid, automatic stay with the "Sit", "Down" & "Place" commands.
7.) Release Command - Show he will do that solid stay until the release" command "Okay" is given.
8.) Reliable Recall - Demonstrate the "Here" command showing his Recall (Come) by him coming quickly and ending with a "Sit" with focused attention right in front of handler.
9.) No Pulling When "Flexi-Heeling" (Walking) casually either On-Leash Near The Handler or out to Varying Distances Out In Front Of The Handler - Show, with the "Easy" command, on a casual walk, that the dog walks nicely at whatever distance the handler wishes, on a loose leash, without any pulling and that he turns when the handler does. This flexibility adds a new dimension to walking your dog.
10.) Tight "Heel" Next To The Handler - Demonstrate that he has also learned on-leash "Heeling" next to the handler with right turns, left turns, about turns, and halts.
11.) Sit at Halt when "Heeling" Next To The Handler - Show that when the handler halts as they are doing an on-leash "Heeling" that he does a sit with each halt.
12.) Change of Pace While "Heeling" - Show changes of pace going from normal, to fast, to slow and back to a normal pace while on-lead "Heeling" both next to and out in front of the handler.
13.) Walk Past Other Dogs - Show, with the "Easy" command, that the dog, while walking on-leash, can walk by other dogs and ignore them.
14.) Crate Training - Show that the dog has learned to love his "Special Spot" (his crate), like a kid loves a tree house, by pointing and using the "Place" command.
15.) No Jumping - Show that the dog has learned the "Off" command and does not jump up on people or things.
16.) Polite Greeting - Demonstrate a Polite Greeting on-leash, by the dog not bothering or jumping up when meeting people.
17.) Polite Door Manors - Demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait when going through a door or a gate.
18.) Polite Table Etiquette - Demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait till commanded to eat.
19.) On-Leash & Off-Leash - Do the all of the above both on-leash, as well as, off-leash.
20.) Distractions - Work these exercises while under significant distractions.
21.) Behavior Modification - Work on problem solving various aggression, socialization & other miscellaneous issues.
22.) "Invisible Leash" - Low-level E-collar training will be utilized to communicate with the dog as we build his understanding of this outstanding training tool.
23.) Two Hour Graduation Program - When our training has been completed there will be a 2 hour Graduation Program to catch you up with what your dog now knows and all the commands and how to handle him.
