PLEASE NOTE: An “Evaluation” is NOT required in order for you to enroll you dog in the "Pet Dog" K-9 Boot Camp program below.
In this minimum 14 day K-9 Boot Camp “Pet Dog Program”, your dog will receive the following training:
.) Voice Commands (in foreign language, if requested) - Respond to “Voice” commands (beside English, if you wish, we can train your dog in German, Dutch, French, Czech, Polish, or . . . ?)
.) Focused Attention - Demonstrate that he gives automatic focused attention by looking calmly up into the face of the handler.
.) Snap Sit - Accomplish a very snappy "Sit", with an automatic focused attention.
.) Quick Down - Show he will do a consistent and quick “Down”.
.) Solid Stay - Demonstrate his settling into a real solid, automatic stay with the "Down" command.
.) Release Command - Show he will do that solid stay until the release" command "Okay" is given.
.) Reliable Recall - Demonstrate the "Here" command showing his Recall (Come) by him coming quickly and ending with a "Sit" with focused attention right in front of handler.
.) No Pulling When "Flexi-Heeling" (Walking) casually either On-Leash Next To The Handler or out to Varying Distances Out In Front Of The Handler - Show, with the "Easy" command, on a casual walk, that the dog walks nicely at whatever distance the handler wishes, on a loose leash, without any pulling and that he turns when the handler does. Invented at Von Asgard K-9 Center, our award winning "Flexi-Heeling" offers an enjoyable walk whether next to or out in front of the handler. When compared to the repressive drill team-like competition heeling commonly taught, this flexibility adds a new dimension.
.) On-Leash "Flexi-Heeling" Next To The Handler - Demonstrate that he has also learned on-leash "Flexi-Heeling" next to the handler with right turns, left turns, about turns, and halts.
.) Sit at Halt when "Flexi-Heeling" Next To The Handler - Show that when the handler halts as they are doing an on-leash "Flexi-Heeling" that he does a sit with each halt.
.) On-Leash Change of Pace While "Flexi-Heeling" - Show changes of pace going from normal, to fast, to slow and back to a normal pace while on-lead "Flexi-Heeling" both next to and out in front of the handler.
.) On-Leash & Off-Leash - Do the all of the above both on-leash, as well as, off-leash.
.) Go to "Place" - Demonstrate the "Place" command by having the dog go to a designated spot and lay down there until released.
.) Walk Past Other Dogs - Show, with the "Easy" command, that the dog, while walking on-leash, can walk by other dogs and ignore them.
.) Polite Greeting - Demonstrate a Polite Greeting on-leash, by the dog not bothering or jumping up when meeting people.
.) Distractions - Work these exercises while under distraction.
.) Two Hour Graduation Program - When our training has been completed there will be a 2 hour Graduation Program to catch you up with what your dog now knows and all the commands and how to handle him.
.) Lifetime Guarantee - Receive Von Asgard K-9 Center’s 3 way lifetime training guarantee. See below for details.
>>> Note: To these exercises above, you can add a couple of "custom" things to be worked on during "K-9 BOOT CAMP" without any additional cost. These "Custom" items might include: Crate Training, Minor Problem Solving or, for example, (Von Asgard's exclusive) "Invisible Leash" Training. "Invisible Leash" training, however, will require several additional board & train days and an equipment purchase from Von Asgard.
