Von Asgard's "K-9 Kindergarten" Puppy Obedience Training Program can assist you in achieving the following so your pup will be a most pleasant family experience:
In this minimum 7 day K-9 Boot Camp Board & Train Program, your pup will receive the following training:
1.) Voice Commands (in foreign language, if requested) - Respond to “Voice” commands (beside English, if you wish, we can train your dog in German, Dutch, French, Czech or . . . ?)
2.) Focused Attention - Demonstrate that he gives automatic focused attention by looking calmly up into the face of the handler.
3.) Snap Sit - Accomplish a very snappy "Sit", with an automatic focused attention.
4.) Quick Down - Show he will do a consistent and quick “Down”.
5.) Solid Stay - Demonstrate his settling into a real solid, automatic stay with the "Down" command.
6.) Release Command - Show he will do that solid stay until the release command "Okay" is given.
7.) Reliable Recall - Demonstrate the "Here" command showing his Recall (Come) by him coming quickly and ending with a "Sit" with an automatic focused attention right in front of handler.
8.) No Pulling When "Flexi-Heeling" (Walking) casually either On-Leash Next To The Handler or out to Varying Distances Out In Front Of The Handler - Show, with the "Easy" command, on a casual walk, that the dog walks nicely at whatever distance the handler wishes, on a loose leash, without any pulling and that he turns when the handler does. Invented at Von Asgard K-9 Center, our award winning "Flexi-Heeling" offers an enjoyable walk whether at your side (like heeling), near you or out in front of you. When compared to the repressive drill team-like competition heeling commonly taught, this flexibility adds a new dimension.
9.) Walk Past Other Dogs - Show, with the "Easy" command, that the dog, while walking on-leash, can walk by other dogs and ignore them.
10.) Crate Trained - Show that the dog has learned to love his "Special Spot" (his crate), like a kid loves a tree house, by pointing and using the "Place" command.
11.) Polite Greeting - Use the "Off" command to demonstrate a Polite Greeting on-leash with the dog not bothering or jumping up when meeting people.
12.) Polite Door Manors - With the "Easy" command, demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait when going through a door or a gate.
13.) Polite Table Etiquette - With the "Easy" command, demonstrate that the dog will sit and wait till commanded to eat.
14.) Distractions - Work these exercises while under slight distractions.
15.) "Invisible Leash" - Introduction to and understanding of the E-collar.
16.) Two Hour Graduation Program - When our training has been completed there will be a 2 hour Graduation Program to catch you up with what your dog now knows and all the commands and how to handle him.

The "K-9 Kindergarten" Program consists 5 short training sessions each day for your pup during its 7 day stay. In the 2 hour graduation session you will be working one-on-one with a Certified "K-9 Kindergarten" Professional. We teach you how to handle the dog in each situation and physically work with you to master the handling techniques. Of course, "K-9 Kindergarten" also includes Von Asgard's 3 part Lifetime Training Guarantee.
In the “K-9 Kindergarten” program, we discuss with you the psychology needed to achieve your goals, the underpinnings and exactly how you and your dog can successfully accomplish each phase.
This unique program does not end when you have completed the 2 hour graduation session. After completion of the graduation program, our "K-9 Kindergarten" certified professionals are available to you as an on-going resource whenever you need direction, or just reassurance.
