The easy way to locate Von Asgard K-9 Center, when you exit I-75 at Exit #217 East, is to note the odometer mileage and add 18 miles to that figure. Then leisurely drive EAST on State Road 70 until you reach that 18 mile mark. Then look down the road on the left hand (north) side for the six large 4' x 6', international flags flying along the roadway . . . three flying on each side of our 24 foot wide entrance gates. Von Asgard K-9 Center offers a wide variety of specialized training programs, one such offering is its acclaimed “K-9 Bahavior Ranch” a resident pet behavior modification program.
The recognized success of our 'K-9 BEHAVIOR RANCH' problem solving program has greatly contributed to Von Asgard K-9 Center being named the premier dog training organization in Florida. Like our pet dog 'K-9 BOOT CAMP' obedience program, our 'K-9 BEHAVIOR RANCH' problem solving program is like no other. It has been singled out for excellence and written-up in several dog publications. This unique program establishes correct behavior & modifies problem behavior. 'K-9 Behavior Ranch' is resident behavior modification program that teaches both the pet dog, as well as, his owner.
The dog is trained at our location for up to fourteen (14) days, boarding is included.
By training five times a day for short periods, in the course of a seven day week we will have at least 35 training sessions with your dog while utilizing only his prime attention span. Successful training can quickly be accomplished with such a intensive, focused schedule. We use 'Motivation', 'Consistency' and 'Repetition'. Most trainers 'teach' your dog to do something . . . We develop the 'habit' of him doing things correctly.
Although it sometimes takes longer than the 14 day stay, when your dog is finally ready to graduate from 'K-9 BEHAVIOR RANCH', we have you (and the others in your household) come in for a two hour graduation session. We discuss the psychology of each modification, the underpinnings and exactly how your dog accomplished these changes. We teach you how to handle the dog in each situation and physically work with you to master the handling techniques. We then show you just how well your dog is doing, by bring out your dog and, with us doing the handling, show you just how much he has accomplished.
Only then do we put you together with your dog and work with you and your dog until the two of you are communicating and he is responding appropriately.
We then teach you a three minute routine that you can do with your dog when you get home. This three minute routine, done four times a day for a short period at your home, will develop the habit of him responding correctly for you at your location.

Von Asgard K-9 Center requires a $45 deposit to set up a reservation. The total bill, less the prepaid deposit, is due at check-in. We accept most debit and credit cards, as well as, your personal check. “Long Term” boarding is billed to your card in 30 day increments. Should a medical situation arise while your pet is in our care, you agree to give Von Asgard permission to contact a Vet, to give care, and to medicate your pet appropriately in your behalf. You also agree to pay for such services. Animal or animals not picked-up or that remain unpaid for over thirty days, unless other arrangements are made, shall become the sole property of Von Asgard K-9 Center.
While we cannot guarantee this program, Von Asgard's success rate with it's 'K-9 BEHAVIOR RANCH' program has been very significant. This program does include our free 'K-9 BEHAVIOR RANCH' GRADUATE - Refresher Course' program each time you board your 'K-9 Behavior Ranch' graduate at Von Asgard K-9 Center. At no additional cost to you, we will refresh your dog on all the areas that we worked on during his stay at the 'K-9 Behavior Ranch'.
